Japanese Clothing
Obiage - A scarf! Usually made of silk, for girls only.
Kimono - For both girls and boys, but usually shorter for the boys. Girls' kimonos are mad of silk, and are extremely expensive, though also very beautiful - often with patterns and stuff.
Obi - A belt for girl kimonos, made of silk.
Obijime - A rope to tie the haori (see below) together.
Haori - A coat to wear over the kimono. As all other boy-items it's dull-colored and without flashy patterns.
Hakama - Big baggy pants... almost looks like a skirt. It's only worn by men, but it can be worn by women in martial arts training. The longer the hakama is the higher rank the samurai wearing it had, but in the Meiji era there were no samurai left, so why pay attention to that, right?
Zori - Sandals. Tall soles for girls to make them taller ^^. Sometimes made of rice-straw. Notice that the rope goes between the toes, and that the socks are designed like that too.
